DUTIES: The position of Operations Specialist is a highly specialized professional position involving

environment for the Medicaid population. The Operations Specialist is a member of the SBHM

Operations Team, which is responsible for assisting the Executive Director in identifying, defining, and

executing projects and initiatives based upon Consumer and County need, as well as on changing State,

local, and Federal initiatives and requirements. At the direction of agency management, the Operations

Specialist is responsible for the oversight and management of activities associated with the coordination

of issue tracking and issue resolution for the portfolio of corporate and county initiatives and programs.

The Operations Specialist will be accountable to provide a wide range of management and administrative

mission of these positions will be to work with a variety of groups to achieve the goals of increasing

consumer and family satisfaction and outcomes while managing costs. The importance of the work of

these positions is anticipated to increase as federal and state budgets tighten.
